Campers

At Buck’s Rock, campers enjoy the freedom of being able to create projects in any shop, and in most cases, without having to sign up beforehand. The best part of being a camper at Buck’s Rock is being able to choose from a wide variety of activities. Regularly, shops offer workshops or other scheduled activity to enhance the program. The only real challenge is choosing what to do and deciding what to do first! Campers are guaranteed personal assistance with projects from experienced staff members. This allows campers to create projects as detailed or as intricate as they would like, with the appropriate direction and guidance.

If campers want to take a break from working in a shop, there are always other events going on at camp to choose from. Though encouraged to be active in shops, campers may also choose to go swimming or play sports. Campers are also able to go on shop trips or special off-camp events scheduled throughout the summer.

On Festival Day, there is a wonderful exhibit of camper work from all the shops on display for campers, staff, and parents to view.
