Eating is a big part of camp enjoyment.

Buck's Rock's dining facility includes a thoroughly modern kitchen, bakery, and a large dining room. We serve buffet-style, so campers suit their tastes, satisfy their appetites, and sit with whom they choose. In addition to the three customary meals, there is an afternoon snack of cookies, fruit and drinks and our Canteen opens daily offering a wide variety of candy, soda, ice cream, toiletries and sundry items.

Our food is carefully prepared under the supervision of an expert food service manager, chefs and bakers. Special diets are accommodated. There is a wide selection of food on our regular as well as on our vegetarian menu. Breakfast offers both hot and cold choices. A full and fresh salad bar and supplements are available at both lunch and dinner. Bread, butter, and peanut butter and jelly are available at every meal.

Food is plentiful and varied. Saturdays offer a special treat when lunch and dinner are served on the porch and the community is able to enjoy the summer weather by eating on the lawn.
