Newsletter - Winter / Spring 2008
3/10/09,

Greetings Buck's Rockers!

We were so pleased with the success of our Winter Art Exhibit at the prestigious Art Director's Club in NYC. The entire event was organized by Rick Price and many staff and parents who helped considerably. We are grateful to Rick and all the volunteers! There were over 400 pieces on exhibit representing over 300 different Buck's Rock artists: campers, staff and alumni. For those of you who were in attendance, we collectively witnessed an impressive array of art and enjoyed musical entertainment organized by Ivan Rubenstein-Gillis. It was, without a doubt, an extraordinary event and wonderful to bring a bit of Buck's Rock to NYC for friends and family of our community to enjoy!

The Art Show, of course, followed a very well attended annual Reunion where it was wonderful to see so many of you. Thank you for joining us that
day to reminisce and celebrate the summer of 2008. We look forward to seeing many of you back at Buck's Rock this summer.

If you were not able to attend the Exhibit or Reunion or want to "see" the exhibit again, please visit our website and open the leaf "community" and then "events". You can also go to it directly from this link: http://www.bucksrockcamp.com/artshowNYC/main.htm

Buck's Rock's upcoming 67th summer promises to be another huge success with many new and returning staff and campers, along with our second season of the Junior Camper Program for 9-10 year olds.

Our Spring Open House will be held on Saturday, May 16 from 1pm to 4pm (rain date is May 17). On that day, we will be offering tours of the camp and facilities and would be pleased to discuss our performing and creative arts program with any newly enrolled or prospective families. Please call us at 800-636-5218 to advise us if you plan to attend. Driving directions to camp can be obtained from our website at www.bucksrockcamp.com

The annual CIT Meeting will be held in New York City on May 2nd, 2009 at the 92nd Street Y from 11:30am to 1:30 pm. We will contact all CITs with
additional information as the date approaches.

We still have openings in all sessions, our CIT program and limited space in the Junior Camper Program. Please contact Beverley regarding enrollment or enroll directly on our website by clicking "ENROLL NOW".

Best regards,

Mickey and Laura
