The Curious Savage
The residents of the Cloisters care facility live in a pleasant,if delicate, state of denial. They have no desire to leave or have any contact with the outside world until the arrival of Ethel P. Savage. Committed by her ruthless children, who fear her peculiar behavior will squander the family fortune and besmirch the Savage name, Mrs. Savage is determined to prove her sanity so that she can continue to aid others in indulging all manner of foolish fantasies and whims.

Punk, garage, pop, blues and metal groups are all welcome to show off their chops at this high energy concert, which proves that Buck's Rock still knows how to, well, rock!

Clown and Improv Show I
In collaboration with the Clown Shop, campers can learn to take their comedic improvisations and turn them into prepared sketches. In this process, they learn to have stage presence and learn about comedy. The first Clown Show this summer features a compilation of comedic sketches created by campers and directed by our staff of talented comics.

In the midst of a hot, humid summer night, take comfort in the soothing sounds of the Music Shed Concert, an evening of material performed by Buck's Rock's many ensembles. See the a capella groups turn pop favorites into vocal magic, swoon over the cool players in the jazz combos, get riled up for the dynamic orchestra, and lose yourself in the chorus' massive harmonies.

Wise Men of Chelm: "Schlemiels, schlemazels, and dumkops of every kind landed in one spot Ñ one tiny shetl Ñ one ridiculous town made up entirely of fools Ñ Chelm!" Based on a traditional Jewish folk tale, Wise Men has all the schtick and absurd logic of Abbot and Costello, with a little yiddish for good measure.

Attention movie lovers! Get your VHS, DVDs, and hard-drives ready for this year's Tribute Show! Come participate in this multimedia show that will feature your favorite tracks from Star Wars to Pinocchio and everything in between. Play the music from your favourite scenes! Any six week camper who would like to extend the extra couple days to perform in the show is more than welcome to. The more the merrier! This play takes place in Terezin, a German concentration camp. The camp was mostly children, and the play was inspired by the drawings and writings of the children who lived and died there.
