Come and visit us to learn about our full arts program and experience our theater, music and dance performances.

For Prospective Campers
In the late spring, we host an Open House for all interested families to tour our sleepaway summer camp with a member of our staff. The Open House is a great opportunity to visit the camp and ask questions of someone who has been a part of the magic.

In addition, we offer tours of our arts and crafts studios, and theater and performing arts facilities throughout the summer to allow prospective families to see what the camp is like in full swing. You’re also invited to catch one of the outstanding musical or theater performances put on by campers.

If you are interested in a tour, please contact us.

For Campers and their Families
Buck's Rock summer camp for high-school age and junior campers has no specific visiting day. Parents are free to visit at any time, and as often as they like. Due to our Friday Clean-Up, we appreciate if campers are not signed out between 1:00pm and 2:00pm.

All visitors must sign in at the Front Office and obtain a visitor's pass. Please be reminded that no one under 21, including older siblings, may visit at any time unless accompanied by a parent. When you visit, we hope that you will be able to spend a good amount of time at camp, allowing your teenager or child to be your tour guide.

Sign In/Out Procedure
The Parent Consent Form serves as the required, written authorization for any other family member, friend or other camper's parents to take your child/children off campus. Permission is always cleared at the Office before any camper may be signed out. If you wish to take your child off campus, he or she must be signed out and signed back in at the Office. Campers should be returned and signed back in at the Office by 10:00pm. Please contact us if your child will not be returned prior to the curfew.

It is the campers' parents' responsibility to follow this security procedure without error in order for us to be able to account for your child's whereabouts. If you are taking your child off camp overnight, please advise his/her Guidance Counselors and the Office upon signing out.

Performances and Events
In the first week of camp, we mail each family a list of music, dance and theater performances and other creative arts events that will occur throughout the summer camp season. You are welcome to attend any events, even if your child is not performing.

Festival is held on the last day of camp. It is a wonderful day of performances, demonstrations, and art exhibits with a picnic lunch and dinner. Everyone is invited to attend, and we hope that many of the first-session and 6-week campers will come back with their parents to visit on this day.
