Publications

The Publications Shop takes campers through every step of publication - from the conception of an idea, all the way through to the pressing of the ink on the pages of their own magazines and books. The shop produces a diverse assortment of projects, including newspapers, magazines featuring campers' poetry and short fiction, cartoon books of campers' comic strips and illustrations, and an incredible Yearbook of camp memories for everybody to take home at the end of the summer.

A talented staff of writers, illustrators, and graphic design experts meet regularly with campers to create the material for these publications. Campers work with the most modern tools to help them realize their artistic visions. Computer graphics programs and layout software, digital cameras, and Internet access enable this shop to produce a staggering volume of material, all of which the Publications Shop prints on its own offset presses.
