At Book Arts we explore the possibilities of papermaking and the creative art of handmade books.

In Book Making, summer campers learn to use and adapt traditional book-binding techniques to make hand-crafted books. We aspire to push the boundaries of what can be a book and what belongs within its pages (if it even has pages!)

In Papermaking, campers create and manipulate various materials (some that may surprise you) to make their very own handmade paper of varying colors, textures and patterns. Mysterious materials can yield magical results!

Paper arts shows campers how to create jewelry, pop-up cards, sculptures, napkin rings, paper mache, masks, lamp shades, origami, boxes and anything else you can think of using paper. At Buck’s Rock, we can help you turn your ideas into paper realities.
